Midlands Minister of Provincial Affairs and Devolution Owen Ncube was nominated best performing Provincial Minister at the 2023 performance evaluation results and signing of performance contracts for senior public officials for Fiscal year 2024.

The event was presided over by President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House and after receiving the Minister Ncube said he owes this award to the Midlands Province.

''The price is for the Midlands Province and we will continue with the good work in the Province,'' he said.

The second place was Dr M. Chombo Mashonaland west province.
